Checked Suitcases

Single 24 and 28 inch shells that expand by about a fifth. Both travel in the hold. The 24 slips into the cabin only where a carrier allows a bigger bag, and the 28 slips in nowhere. Both shells use the same polycarbonate, the same double row spinner wheels and the same TSA lock as the sets, and both arrive with a weekender duffel and a toiletry bag.

Pick a single shell when you already own the other sizes, or when one trip a year needs the extra room.
